Ohanaeze rejects Ekpa’s plot to drag Ndigbo into another war

Must read

Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, a chieftain of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has condemned the plot by Simon Ekpa, leader of Autopilot, to drag Ndigbo into another civil war. In a statement made available to LEADERSHIP, Isiguzoro stated that Ndigbo views with great distaste and condemnation Ekpa’s purported declaration of himself as the “Biafran Prime Minister in Exile”.

Isiguzoro also accused Ekpa, who operates from Finland, of being an enemy of Ndigbo and a tool in the destruction of Ala-Igbo. He cited reports of heightened terrorism from Ekpa’s Finnish base, including reports from a Finnish journalist who visited Enugu in February to interview families of victims of terror attacks orchestrated by Ekpa. Isiguzoro stated that these reports were presented to the Finnish government.

Isiguzoro warned that Ekpa’s game-plan is to plunge Nigeria into another undeserved civil war if the Nigerian government fails to check his activities. He called on Ndigbo to capture Ekpa dead or alive, as he is the leader of the most dreadful killer squad in the Southeast whose sole aim is to destabilize the region with his satanic agenda of leading another civil war against Nigeria.

Isiguzoro made it clear that Ndigbo cannot be pushed into fighting another war, regardless of the provocations of Ekpa and his paymasters. He also accused Ekpa of attempting to destroy Ala-Igbo to fulfill his paymaster’s political ambitions. Isiguzoro cited Ekpa’s previous actions, such as declaring a five-day sit-at-home in the South-East during the presidential election and the declaration of a sit-at-home in Lagos, as evidence of his destructive agenda.

Isiguzoro also called attention to Ekpa’s latest drama, which he claims is aimed at distracting the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate from the pursuit of his Pan-Nigerian mandate at the election tribunal. He believes that Ekpa’s questioning of the candidate’s belief in Nigeria is an attempt to undermine the ongoing fraternity between Ndigbo and their Yoruba siblings.

Isiguzoro stated that Ndigbo has rebutted and renounced in strong terms the formation of a purported Biafra Government in Exile, by Simon Ifeanyi Njoku Ekpa, and that Ndigbo will resist any attempt to drag them into another war.
