Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has changed her name as she officially confirmed that she is now a Muslim.
The actress disclosed this in a video at a Ramadan event she hosted with her husband, Kazeem Adeoti.
Charging her fans and Nigerians to address her as Hajia Meenah Mercy Adeoti, she stressed that the Meenah has an ‘h’
“My new name is Hajia Meenah Mercy Adeoti. Meenah with an h.”
The actress got married to Mr Adeoti in 2022 and was accused of extra-marital affairs while still in a relationship with her ex, Lanre Gentry.
While denying the allegation, she said she had constantly been vilified despite her clear explanation on the matter.
