Barrister Festus Keyamo, Minister of State for Labour and Employment and chief spokesperson for the APC Presidential Campaign Council, has lodged a complaint with the Department of State Services (DSS) alleging that Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, and his running mate Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, have made statements that could incite rebellion and treason.
Keyamo’s two-page petition addressed to the DSS Director-General claimed that their comments could result in insurrection against the Nigerian government and President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He submitted the petition to the DSS headquarters in Abuja and posted on Twitter that he was calling for peace and national healing, which is not a sign of weakness.
