Lagos Guber: Stop labeling Igbos enemies – Oby tells Lagosians

Must read

A former minister of Education, Dr Oby Ezekwesili has condenmed the current ethnic profiling going on in Lagos State.

The Igbos in Lagos are now being tagged enemies in some parts of the State. This is coming ahead of the governorship election now slated for March 18.

The ethnic profiling increased immediately after the Labour Party won the presidential election in the state.

Some politicians apparently afraid that the same result may repeat during the governorship polls have pushed forward a narrative, insisting that the Igbos do not own Lagos and must not be allowed to win the election.

Femi-Fani Kayode was the first to start the message on his Twitter handle.

Videos of threats have now emerged on social media and just yesterday, the Akere Spare Parts Market in Olodi-Apapa, Ajegunle was set ablaze with accusing fingers pointing to a particular direction.
