Delta Guber: Labour party debunks alliance with PDP, APC

Must read

*Says tricksters are now endorsing APC, PDC
The Labour Party in Delta State has debunked reports of an alliance with the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), and All Progressives Congress, (APC) in the forthcoming governorship election.
lt alleged that both parties were trading with tricksters posing as officials of the Obidient Movement.
Speaking in an interview, the chairman of the party in Delta State, Mr Tony Ezeagwu said that Labour was going into the election on its own with Deacon Ken Pela as the candidate to beat.
“You saw what happened on 25th of February when Labour Party cleared everywhere in Delta State and we are going to repeat that feat once again because Labour has taken over.
“When they were talking and saying that we don’t have structures people were just laughing over it because we know that the Obidient Movement in Nigeria is a complete movement of its own.
“At the end of the day and it is obvious to PDP, APC and other political parties in Delta State that Labour Party has come to stay and is the party to be beaten if you are strong enough.”
Ezeagwu who spoke in an interview described the claim by the PDP and APC of endorsing them as tricks being pulled by the two major parties.
“It is a mere rumour meant to distract people. All what they are doing are just tricks. They pay people and gather them and say these are Labour Party people that they are endorsing us.”
“Labour Party has got nothing to do with any other political party, we are going into it solo and it is going to be so and we are sure that at the end of the day Labour Party will come out victoriously in the governorship election of March 11.”
“We don’t have the intention of going into alliance with any other political party except those who indicate interest to step down for my candidate, Deacon Ken Pela.” Ezeagwu noted.
