A defensive error led to a first-half goal conveniently converted by Bojang. Effort to equalize in the 1st-half failed as the Nigerians lacked the ability to be clinical in their final kicks.
A 2nd-half opportunity that came in form of a penalty was wasted as number 9, Abdullahi played against the standing pole.
In the end, Gambia sailed to the finals of the AFCON
