Balami delivers polling unit amid insecurity

The Deputy National Campaign Manager of the Labour Party, Isaac Balami, joined the list of prominent allies of Peter Obi to deliver its polling unit to the presidential candidate of the party.

According to the result sheets on Saturday, February 25, the Labour Party won with landslide margins against the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In the two result sheets of the polling units that shared the same location, where Balami was raised and had his primary and Secondary school, the Labour Party polled 158 votes, the PDP came a distant second with 109 votes, and the ruling party, APC, polled only 37 votes. In the other result, Labour Party polled 119 votes, PDP came second with 68 votes and APC came distant third with 21 votes. In Bwala polling unit, Balami’s ancestral home, Balami’s LP won by 27 votes, PDP came second with 22 votes and APC can third with 12 votes. The result further solidifies Peter Obi’s popularity among the masses in the northeast as he continues his quest to become the president of Nigeria.
