Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke of the Federal High Court in Lagos has fixed February 24 for Judgment in a suit filed by the Labour Party(LP) and five others seeking to restrain the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from engaging the services of the Lagos Parks and Garages Management Committee led by Musliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo to distribute election materials in the state.
Justice Aneke fixed the date after the counsel to the applicants, Abbas Ibrahim, adopted his processes.

INEC was not represented in the proceedings and did not file a response to the suit.
The judge had on Monday restrained the electoral body from engaging the Lagos Parks and Garages Management Committee to handle logistics for the elections pending the hearing and determination of a suit.
Other applicants in the suit are LP’s Lagos State governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-favour, African Democratic Congress, Lagos State governorship candidate, Funsho Doherty, Boot Party and its governorship candidate Wale Oluwo.
