The Benue State Government has declared February 24th, 2023 work-free day to enable workers of the State proceed to their various communities to vote in the Presidential and National Assembly elections this Saturday.
The State Executive Council took the decision during its meeting today. The following sectors are however exempted from the work-free day and will therefore continue to provide services to the public tomorrow. These are the Judiciary, Security, Banks, Hospitals and Fire Service.
Council further urged Benue people to conduct themselves peacefully during the elections as they have done in previous ones.
