Why obidients ‘bully’ supporters of other candidates – Okon Lagos

Must read

Popular actor and comedian, Imeh Bishop, aka Okon Lagos has taken on critics of supporters of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Supporters of other political parties have accused Obi’s supporters also known as the ‘Obidents’ of cyberbullying.

During a recent interview with radio personality, Nedu and others on the ‘Honest Bunch Podcast’, Okon Lagos explained why the ‘Obidents’ engage in ‘cyberbullying’.

This was after Nedu accused the former Anambra Governor’s supporters of actively engaging in bullying.

“If you support somebody that is not Peter Obi, they’ll drag you down; they’ll bully you,” the OAP said.

Responding, the comedy star said: “Listen, it is not bullying. If you come out and we are only cyberbullying you and there’s no civil war, we have tried.

“This is 200 and something million people, we have not broken.

“Do you know what we have seen? We are very angry. Do you know what eight years mean in the life of even a girl or anybody that is young?

“When someone is convinced of a route towards national salvation and then, by way of your action and inaction, it looks like you are jeopardising that move; it is very frustrating. He sees you as an enemy. Do you understand?”
