A suspected dynamite exploded during the campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers State, on Thursday.
At least three persons, mostly women who were at the venue of the rally sustained various degrees of injuries from the explosion suspected to be dynamite, a report by Daily Independent has claimed.
The report also claims that though the cause of the explosion could not be known immediately, some eyewitnesses alleged that it was a stick of dynamite planted at the Igbokwu playground popularly known as Ojukwu field in mile one area of the state capital.
