31st marriage anniversary: God, Nkechi are my pillars of success in life –  Ikpeazu

The Abia State Governor and the Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Abia central district seat election in the upcoming elections in February 2023, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has expressed gratitude to God for his multitude of mercies upon his marriage and life.

He spoke at the reception organized occasion of the celebration of his 31st wedding marriage anniversary which took place at his country home in Umuobiakwa in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State.

Ikpeazu who was flanked by his siblings family members kinsmen, in-laws, and associates during the unique event, poured encomiums on his wife, Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu, and described her as pillar of his successes and also added he couldn’t achieve all these successes without her by his side.

Giving a vote of thanks, the first son of the celebrant, Mr Jachimike Ikpeazu appreciated the attendees for finding time to identify with his parents in this moment of joyous celebration and thanked God for making it possible to have lovely parents, as well as God’s grace upon the lives of his parents

AFRIPOST correspondent who was at the epoch-making ceremony reports that a church service was earlier held and presided over by the President of the East Nigeria Union Conference of the Seven Day Adventist church, Pastor Professor Bassey Udoh which also featured songs of praise and a short sermon in honour of the first Abia family to commemorate their day.

The event also witnessed the formal commissioning and dedication of Fountain of Grace Chapel built by the Ikpeazu family, cutting off the anniversary cake and dance by the couple.

The occasion was graced by officials of the Abia Government, the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Rt Hon Alwell Asiforo Okere, a former Deputy Governor of the state and the governor’s inlaw, Rt Hon Eric Acho Nwakanma, a member of the State House of Assembly, Hon Thomas Okoro and rest of party chieftains and as well as teeming supporters of the Governor.
