An official of the Tinubu/Shettima campaign council and spokesperson, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the endorsement of Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP by former president Olusegun Obasanjo.
Recall that Obasanjo, in a New Year message endorsed Obi, saying he was the right choice for Nigerians.
But Fani-Kayode said Obi’s endorsement by Obasanjo will make no difference even though he is free to exercise his right of choosing his preferred candidate. .
His statement was contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle.
While reacting, Fani-Kayode said it could not change the fact that it is Tinubu’s time.
He wrote, “OBJ remains a father to us all & I will always respect him. Despite that, I reserve the right to disagree with him when & where necessary. His endorsement of @PeterObi is not only inexplicable but also an exercise in futility. It is @officialABAT’s time: nothing can change that.”
