WhatsApp restores network on app after Tuesday shutdown

American multinational technology conglomerate, META, has restored WhatsApp network after it outage on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.

CNN had earlier reported that WhatsApp was having a significant outage that prevented some users from using the platform to send messages.

AFRIPOST also observed the problem Tuesday morning after staff of the company were unable to use WhatsApp to send messages.

The business, which also owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp among other products and services, stated earlier that it was making every effort to restore service as soon as possible.

The reports stated that there have been nearly 70,000 app-based reports of the outage, according to data from Down Detector.

As at the time of filling this report, network has been restored on the platform and messages have started dropping.
