Enugu Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has been transferred from the adoration ministry to the monastery.
This latest decision followed the reopening of the adoration ministry which was shut down three months ago.
The ministry was only re-opened yesterday, Sunday.
To the shock of his followers, Fr. Mbaka, was replaced by another clergy of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, Rev. Fr. Anthony Amadi.
The transfer said to be with immediate effect has been generating series of reactions among Mbaka followers and Catholics in the state.
Mbaka is known to be vocal on politocal happenings in the country and was key to the emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari. However, halfway into the administration of the Nigerian president, the acclaimed man of God recanted his support for Buhari, expressing regrets that he supported him.
Recently, the Catholic priest started a campaign against Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, saying Obi was not the right candidate for the country.
