Labour Party and Peter Obi supporters Sunday defied police order at the Lekki axis of Lagos and staged a massive rally at Lekki tool gate and other areas in the stage.
Despite police warning against holding the rally around the toll gate, thousands of Obi’s supporters stormed the area.
They marched through the Lekki-Epe Expressway, chanting ‘Obi! Obidient!’
The supporters also held the rally at different locations in Lagos including Festac town, Surulere and the National Stadium.
Images and videos have emerged online of a massive turnout of supporters across the state.
Earlier, the third force, a group championing the Obi-Datti movement had commended the police around the Lekki axis, saying they were civil and calm when they visited the Lekki toll gate ahead of the rally.
