If you don’t want to be poor, frustrated, change leadership – Obasanjo challenges youths

Must read

Former vice president, Olusegun Obasanjo has said that the hardship in the country is not the fault of God, but a choice Nigerian leaders have made.

Obasanjo, in a conversation with Charlyboy which he posted on his Instagram page @areafada1, said Nigerian youths have the power to change their condition by changing the nation’s leadership.

When Charlyboy introduced himself as the president of frustrated Nigerian youths, Obasanjo tapped him and said he was also the father of all frustrated Nigerian youths.

Responding to Charlyvoy’s question on how to address the current level of hopelessness in the land, Obj said: So that we are poor and frustrated is not the fault of God. It’s the choice of our leaders and if you are going to change our situation, you have to change leadership – pure and simple. And there is nobody who will do it other than the youths.

” If you have a baby with a very robust waist and you don’t put beads in her waist, and you are putting in another baby’s waist. I will always tell people that my own baby is Nigeria. That’s the one that has a robust waist and that’s the one I want to put beautiful beads on, not an individual who I know that they will not achieve whatever they promise they want to achieve. That is not the issue. The issue is Nigeria.

Recall that Obasanjo recently met with the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmad Tinubu over his 2023 presidential ambition.

However, details of the meeting have been kept secret. But one of those who went with Tinubu, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila said the outcome was great and a pointer that Tinubu would be winning the 2023 election.

Obasanjo was the first democratic president of Nigeria when the country returned to civilian rules in 1999. Watch video…
