An Ikeja Special Offences Court on Wenesday reserved until Aug. 18, judgment in a case of one Moses Joseph, who allegedly defiled a 13-year-old.
Recalls that Joseph had pleaded not guilty to a two-count charge bordering on indecent treatment on a minor.
Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo adjourned the case for judgment to enable the court to collate all relevant documents.
Lagos State, which is prosecuting the case, had alleged that the defendant, on Sept. 17, 2021, about 11:00 p.m, indecently treated the minor, by putting his finger in her vagina.
It said that the crime took place at 25, Kadiri St., Alausa, Ikeja, in contravention of Sections 135, 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.(NAN)
