As announced by the organizers, Big Brother Naija, season 7 will kick off today, Saturday, July 23, 2022.
It’s not clear what the game plan will be yet, but like other editions, the show will not start with the usual controversies and surprises.
Recall that Big Brother Nigeria season 6 was won by Whitemoney. The winner went away with 30 million Naira cash prize, a car, and a house.
Unlike other seasons of the show, the last edition appeared managed with minimal controversies.
But a source told AFRIPOST that the organizers have packaged this edition with activities that may lead to different controversies in order to get the needed traction.
It’s not only that this edition intends to bank on controversies, but it has also returned to its usual tradition of the use of Ninja to guide housemates.
Recall that Big Brother Ninja was suspended in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The show tagged lockdown edition, in its observation of the COVID-19 rules suspended the use of Ninjas.
The show is also expected to hold for 72 days, which is relatively more than 3 months.
The introductory launch of the show will commence this Saturday, July 23, while the main launch that will introduce all housemates into the house will hold on Sunday, July 24, 2022.
Additionally, Toke Makinwa will be joining Ebuka Obi-Uchendu as a host of season 7.
