Nigeria Super Eagles this afternoon defeated Sao Tome & Principe with 10:O in the Group A of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Adrar Stadium in Agadir, Morocco.
The man of the match, Victor Osimhen scored four goals for the Nigerian sides before the end of the match.
The Monday victory follows the 2:1 defeat of Sierra Leone at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Thursday, 9 June.
Nigeria scored 3 goals in the first half. While the first goal came from Osimhen, the second was from Moses Simon. Terem Moffi scored the third of the first half.
Etebo, Lookman and Dennis Emmanuel also registered their names in the score sheet.
This is the second win by Jose Peserio since he took over from Augustine Eguavoen.
Only two of the four teams will qualify from the group in the AFCON 2023 which will hold in Ivory Coast.
