There is tension in Akeredolu own town of Owo, Ondo State as gunmen Sunday morning attacked a Catholic Church in the town, killing over 30 persons.
The Church, St Francis is a popular place of worship in the busy Owo town.
AFRIPOST gathered that the gunmen stormed the church when members were already in for Sunday mass.
Recall that Nigerian churches had around 2011 the target of terrorists as some churches, especially catholic churches in the far north shared in the bitter experience.
Soon after, the trend was brought to a halt through serious security checks at churches.
