The Osun State correspondent of the Nations Newspaper, Toba Adedeji was Tuesday shot by police officers in Osogbo.
Toba and an a lady were hit by a stray bullet by the officers who were trying to stop a protest at the popular Olaiya junction, Osogbo.
The police personnel, it was gathered were shooting sporadically to disperse the protesters.
The protesters had stood the popular junction in protest of the April 4, 2022 killing of Abiola Afolabi by police personnel.
Afolabi’s friends decided to mourn him after he was laid to rest on Tueaday.it was learnt was buried on Tuesday.
The bullet hit Toba on the leg while the lady was hit on the thigh.
The victims have been taken to the hospital for medical attention.
