Former senate president, Bukola Saraki has accepted his defeat in the Saturday Peoples Democratic Party”s primaries.
In a statement issued on Sunday morning by Saraki, he congratulated Atiku, urging all PDP members to rally round the presidential candidate in order to rescue Nigeria.
Saraki thanked his supporters and friends, urging them to rally round all PDP candidates across the country.
“I thank all our friends and supporters across the nation for keying into our vision to provide #RealSolutions and #FixNigeria!
“I congratulate the winner of tonight’s PDP Presidential Primary, His Excellency, our former Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, on his emergence as the Presidential flag-bearer of our party.

Now, we must all rally around all our candidates across the nation to fix our economy, curb the insecurity, and put an end to the rising cost of living.”
