A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic, PDP, Olabode George has reacted to Tambuwal’s move of stepping down for Atiku Abubakar at the ongoing PDP national convention.
George, in an interview with Channels TV, said that at the moment, most delegates from other states may be thinking that it is now South vs Northern battle.
He cautioned against such thinking, saying it is dangerous for the success of the party going into the main election.
George said Tanbuwal’s move was a smart one considering that he is from the northwest, the same zone the current president hails from.
