Nigerian idol: Zadok, Progress go head-to-head in final battle for N100m

Nigerian Idol will today come to a close as the final showdown between Zadok and Progress will draw up the final curtain for the annual event.

The show which started with top 12 who emerged from the preliminary stage is now left with two contestants to battle it out today for the N100m rewards.

Last week, Banty was eliminated from the show, leaving Zadok and Progress to battle for the face of the show (Nigerian idol)

But fans of the show have had divergent opinions within the week on who may emerge the winner of this edition.W

While majority of those who watch the show believe that Zadok has a complete star quality to be named the Nigerian musical idol, others have argued that Progress is never a pushover based on his performances in the last two to three episodes of the show.

AFRIPOST recalls that Zadok has undoubtedly remained the talk of the show due to his star quality and his all-around talent. Most of his performances were top-notch that got judges on their feet. However, his last performance gave him away towards the end.

Progress on the other hand had his up and down in the show, but rose to the challenge towards the end of the show, sending the likes of Banty out of the show. His last performance wowed both the judges and audience giving him a better lifeline.

The winner of Nigerian Idol is expected to go home with N100m and a recording deal.
