The date for the kick off of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) draw ceremony for the 2023 African Nations Championship (CHAN) has been changes.
The qualification draw was initially scheduled to be conducted on Friday, April 29, 2022.
However, CAF has now postponed it indefinitely, without announcing a particular new date.
The CHAN is a tournament for players who stay back home to play in local leagues.
Nigeria failed to qualify for the last edition in Cameroon, while Morocco has won the last two tournaments.
Recall that Moroccan side, The Atlas Lions defeated Eagles of Mali 2-0 in the final of CHAN which held in 2021 at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium, Yaounde, Cameroon.
