Govt knows what we want, not money – Abductors of train passengers

  • The abductors of Abuja-Kaduna train passengers have said that government already knows their demands, warning the nation’s leadership not to put people in their custody to risk by trying to investigate them.

The abductors in a video said their aim was not to get ransom from the Federal Government, nor make money from the families of their victims.

In a video released by the assailants on Wednesday, that accompanied the release of a victim, Mr Alwan Hassan, Managing Director of Bank of Agriculture, they threatened to kill the victims should the government fails to meet their demands.

Speaking in hausa language on behalf of the bandits, the speaker said the MD was released due to his age and in the spirit of Ramadan.

Afripost.ng recalls that scores of people in an Abuja-Kaduna bound train were killed and others abducted when bandits attacked the train.
