It’s wrong to compare PDP to APC –  Party chieftain, Anthony Ehilebo

Must read

A Peoples Democratic Party’s chieftain and New Media Director, Anthony Ehilebo, has stated that comparing PDP to APC is like comparing heaven to earth, stating that APC has not reached the level to be compared to a party (PDP) that has achieved so much with regard to national development.

Mr Ehilebo said that contrary to what is on ground at the moment, the PDP administration gave the nation one of the fasted growing economies when it led the country.

Ehilebo while speaking exclusively to Afripost.ng said:

“We are just going to state the fact. Go and compare. We gave you a fast-growing economy. We gave you liberalism. We gave you freedom of speech, freedom of information.

“You went and chose a man that had never done anything to increase his mental capacity to contest for the president of Nigeria. What degree – what knowledge did Buhari acquire between 1985 and 2015, before running for the position? Not a single paper.

“The only time he was known, he was known to have incited violence. And then we chose that person as president. We are almost at the end of this torture. If we like, we should continue to allow APC to deceive.

Painting an analogy, the PDP chieftain likened PDP and APC to two children in a school.

He said “One has not even done his assignment in school at all. When it comes to doing his assignment, he will fight, injure people with so much violence. He doesn’t even have a uniform. He has not been able to do his registration. But his father is in charge. The father is the mayor of that town, so nobody can stop him and that’s why he acts with such impunity. And the final exam is coming. He is bragging that he doesn’t need to do what he needs to do before he wins.

“Meanwhile, someone else is diligently setting his timetable for his convention, did his convention, and set up a proper structure. You see them moving around, resolving issues with primary elections and the rest, ” he said.
