Senator Ademola Jackson Adeleke has emerged as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) July 16 gubernatorial election. The Chairman of the Osun’s PDP primary election, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, made the announcement on Tuesday evening.
He said Ademola Adeleke polled a total of 1,887 votes to pick the ticket of the party for the governorship poll.
Presenting the PDP Certificate of Return to Adeleke, Ewhrudjakpo noted that 1,916 delegates were accredited while 24 invalid votes were recorded.
He announced Dele Adeleke to have scored 1,887; Dotun Babayemi, no vote; Akin Ogunbiyi, 0; Fatai Akinbade, 0 and Sanya Omirin, 4.
