Super Eagles crash out of AFCON

The Nigerian Super Eagles have crashed out of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nation after the Carthage Eagle of Tunisia defeated them in alone gone.

A goal from Youssef Msakni put the Tunisians ahead in the 47th minute.

The hope of an equalizer vanished away after substitute, Alex Iwobi was shown the red card in what appeared to be his first touch in the game.

Effort from Sadiq Abubabakar failed to yield results upon his introduction towards the end of the encounter.

Nigeria qualified from the group stage with a maximum 9 points. Tunisia qualified as the best loser.
