EndSARS: Delta Gov imposes 48-hour curfew

Delta State Governor, Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa has imposed a 48-hour curfew in the state to help curtail activities of hoodlums as EndSARS protest continues.

While addressing the state on Thursday, the governor said ‘the curfew takes effect as from 6pm today with the exception of essential service providers”.

Governor Okowa, however, commended the youths for rising up to the challenge as well as organizing the protests in a peaceful manner to express their views.

While appealing to the youths to remain calm and law-abiding, Governor Okowa assured them that the Delta State Government was on their side.

Governor Okowa also ordered all public and private schools to remain shut until Monday, November 2.
