The total number of active cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country has risen to 12,446 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC confirmed 437 new cases in 16 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
NCDC made this known on Sunday via a post on its social media handles.
The development brings the total number of recorded cases of the virus since its importation into the country to 46,577 with 945 fatalities while 33,186 patients have been discharged from various quarantine centres across the country.
