Benue State on Thursday, recorded 53 new coronavirus cases as the virus continues to spread in the state.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC made the revelation on Saturday night while giving update on daily recorded cases in the country.
The new data on NCDC platform indicates that the country has recorded 453 fresh cases in 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
The total confirmed cases in Nigeria now stand at 46,140 with 942 deaths while 33,044 patients have been discharged from various isolation centres across the country.
