The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Prof. Haruna Wakili of Bayero University Kano is dead.
This was disclosed by the University Registrar, Hajiya Fatima Binta Muhammad on Saturday.
According to the Registrar, the professor died at the wee hours of Saturday at the National Hospital, Abuja.
Haruna was a Professor of History, specialized in History of Riots, Revolts, Conflicts, Peace studies, Democracy and Good Governance, also a former Commissioner of Education in Jigawa.
