The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the recovery and discharge of 90 coronavirus patients from the state’s isolation centres.
The governor who made the announcement on Friday evening via a post on his official social media page, said the patients were discharged after testing positive twice for the virus.
He said the discharged patients were 30 females and 60 males from different isolation centres in the state.
The post reads, “I bring you great news from our isolation facilities. Today, 90 fully recovered COVID19Lagos patients; 30 females and 60 males, were discharged to join the society.
“The patients; 28 from Onikan, 9 from Eti-Osa (LandMark), 10 from Agidingbi, 5 from Gbagada, 2 from First Cardiology, 10 from Lekki and 26 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID19.
“With this, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our Isolation facilities is now 1137.
“As our front line health workers records successes in this battle against #COVID19, we urge citizens to adhere strictly to our public advisories and directives as this is the only way we can break the chain of transmission of the infection”.
