The Kano State Government said it has recorded two fresh cases of coronavirus in the state.
The government also announced the discharge of 35 patients from its treatment centres in the State.
The state Ministry of health in a tweet via its official Twitter account on Monday, confirmed the development.
According to the Ministry, the 35 patients were discharged after showing full recovery from the virus and tested negative twice.
It also stated that the State now has a total number of 450 discharged patients, with 501 active cases.
The tweet reads “COVID19 Kano Update as at 11:50pm 7th June 2020.
“2 new cases of COVID19 has been confirmed in the state.
“35 additional COVID19 Kano patients were discharged after showing full recovery.
“Residents are advised to take safety measures seriously and always mask up.”
