The Kano State Government has confirmed the death of one Coronavirus patient in the state.
The State’s Ministry of Health, while making the confirmation via a tweet on its Twitter account on Thursday said that 41 more patients have been discharged from its isolation centre.
The Ministry added that ten new cases of the disease were also recorded in the State.
The tweet reads “Update as at 11:47pm 4th May 2020.
“135 samples of COVID19 were tested today in Kano.
“10 new cases of COVID19 in Kano confirmed.
“41 additional COVID19Kano patients were discharged.
“Sadly, 1 COVID19Kano death was also recorded today.
“Residents are advised to stay safe and always mask up.”
