Kano State Government has announced the recovery and discharge of 21 coronavirus patients in the state.
This was made known by the Kano State Ministry of Health in a tweet via its Twitter account on Wednesday.
The Ministry also confirmed that 12 new cases of the viral infection have been recorded, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the State to 970.
The tweet reads “COVID-19, Kano update as at 11:50 pm, 2nd June, 2020.
“A total of 4, 818 samples of COVID-19 were tested.
“12 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed.
“21 additional COVID-19 Kano patients recovered and were successfully discharged.
“Residents are advised to stay home and stay safe.”
