Kogi finally joins COVID-19 race, records 2 cases

Kogi State has recorded its first Coronavirus cases since the virus was imported into the country.

Kogi and Cross River State were the only two states without a single recorded cases in Nigeria.

However, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, while announcing the confirmed cases on Wednesday night via it’s social media handle, indicated that two cases were recorded in Kogi State.

Meanwhile, NCDC has confirmed 389 additional coronavirus cases in the country bringing the total number of recorded infection in Nigeria to 8,733.
