Removal Of CRK From Curriculum: Reno Omokri Blasts Bakare, Mbaka

Must read

Former Special Assistant to ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri, has lambasted Pastor Tunde Bakare and Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka for “keeping quiet” over the removal of Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK) as a subject of study from Nigeria’s secondary school curriculum.

He said it was hypocritical that the duo, who should be defending Christians, were looking the other way.

Reno, in a Facebook post, recalled how both spoke against President Goodluck Jonathan but can no longer find their voices, “under their Messiah.”

He wrote: “How Pastor Tunde Bakare and Reverend-Father Ejike Mbaka can keep quiet in the face of the removal of Christian Religious Knowledge from our public funded school curriculum may surprise even Satan himself!

“These were people that would speak at the drop of a hat under Goodluck Jonathan but now appear to have lost their voice under their Messiah, Muhammadu Buhari.

“Tunde Bakare especially can now see that he may have not been wrong when he said in the The Punch Newspapers of Monday October 2, 2006 that “Let me tell you the truth by the spirit of God, neither OBJ, Atiku, IBB and this tall one, Buhari are part of the new.

“They are part of the old that is decaying. That old one is passing away. The new is emerging and these ones are not part of that new.”

Meanwhile, President of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has expressed outrage at the removal of the subject, describing it as a move by President Muhammadu Buhari to Islamise Nigeria.

Recall that the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) complained about the development during its meeting with Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The delegation led by its President, Rev Dr Samson Olasupo Ayokunle, also listed demands on the matter, and other burning issues in a letter delivered to Osinbajo.
