A former Vice President, and presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has said that there is no terrorist or gunmen that cannot be defeated. Atiku was reacting to attack on the 6 pm Abuja-Kaduna train by bandits.
Bandits had on Monday night, blew up the train rails and attacked the 6pm train heading to Kaduna from Abuja.
Condemning the incident on his Twitter page, Atiku advised the Federal Government to be committed to the protection of lives and property in Nigeria.
“The attack on Abuja to Kaduna-bound train that reportedly left many injured and some kidnapped is condemnable.
“The government’s commitment to the protection of the life and property of the people must remain sacrosanct.
“My thoughts and prayers are with all who are affected. As one people, there is no enemy, foreign or domestic, that we cannot defeat,” he wrote.
