President Bola Tinubu has nominated Taiwo Oyedele to serve as the minister of state for finance, a development confirmed in a statement from the presidency on Tuesday.
Oyedele is set to succeed Doris Uzoka-Anite, who will reportedly be redeployed to the Ministry of Budget and Planning.
The appointment is part of a broader reshuffle aimed at strengthening the government’s economic management team.
