Several United States military aircraft have crashed in Kuwait, authorities confirmed on Monday, raising concerns over the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Kuwait Ministry of Defence disclosed that the aircraft, belonging to the United States military, went down earlier in the day within the Middle Eastern nation.
In a brief statement, a spokesperson for the ministry said all crew members involved in the crash were safe, adding that there were no reported casualties.
Officials, however, did not immediately reveal the number of aircraft affected or the exact location where the incident occurred.
The cause of the crash remains unknown as authorities said investigations were underway to determine what led to the incident.
Military and emergency response teams were reportedly deployed to the crash site shortly after the development was confirmed.
