A gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in Oyo State, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo has declared that his major priority is to make education accessible to children of the poor.
Oguntoyinbo made this declaration when he kicked-started the presentation of 10,000 free JAMB forms for students in the state.
Our correspondent reports that the event was held at Lagelu local government area of the State.
The students from the local government were at CBT centre in Ejioku area to obtain and fill their forms on Tuesday..
Oguntoyinbo while speaking explained that his major priority is to improve the educational sector in the state.
He added that he plans to make education accessible to the children of the poor.
The PDP chieftain who was represented by Hon. Imoleayo Sola Idowu said “It is part of the idea of Ambassador Ajadi to support the less privileged in the society. He has been doing it, this is not the first time. By 2028 he will be in the Oyo Government House by the Grace of God and will do more for the state.
“Ajadi is following the footsteps of Gov Seyi Makinde to help in improving the educational system in Oyo State. He is desirous of making education accessible to the.downtrodden.
“This is the beginning, and the programme will go round the entire 33 Local Government Areas of the state. Today we are in Lagelu, we will take the programme to Egbeda Local Government next and to other remaining 31”.
One of the beneficiaries; Rasheedat Ololade Adigun, thanked the PDP chieftain for the gesture.
Adigun said, “I sincerely thank Ambassador Ajadi for his kind gesture. I obtained the form free and that is commendable. I pray God to grant him all his wishes”.
Abdul Rasheed Adebayo said, “First of all, I thank God and for this opportunity I thank Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo for his support in providing free JAMB forms to many of us who without him will not have been able to get the forms because of financial difficulties.
“Ambassador Ajadi give us hope through his empowerment. And because of what he has done for us , God will grant his desires. God will grant his aspirations
“We see him as a good man. For me I don’t have money to purchase JAMB forms. I have lost hope but I benefit from the free JAMB forms courtesy of Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo and I believe he has done well. God will also grant his wishes. I really appreciate him.”
Mrs Oladayo Oluwaseun Adisa who is one of the parents of the beneficiaries said she really appreciates what the PDP chieftain has done.
