Celebrity barman and socialite, Cubana Chief Priest, has said he will work against the presidential ambition of Peter Obi in the 2027 general election.
The nightlife promoter made the declaration during an exchange with followers on his Instagram page, where he responded to questions about his political position.
A user had asked him to clarify his stance, writing, “So in simple terms, you are working against Obi in the upcoming presidential election.”
In his response, Cubana Chief Priest confirmed the claim, noting that although he supported Obi in the last election, he would not be backing him in 2027.
He wrote, “Yes, hope say no be crime because I worked for Obi last election even as special adviser to an APC governor.”
His comment generated mixed reactions, with another user referencing his previous encounter with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Reacting, the socialite dismissed the concern, saying, “If you never go EFCC for Naija you never make am,” while also urging critics to support candidates of their choice and calling for greater development in the South-East.
