Must read

The National Examinations Council (NECO) is set to release the results of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External today, Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

An internal circular obtained by our correspondent from the council confirmed that the results will be formally unveiled by NECO’s Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, at 10:45 a.m.

The circular, signed by the Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, instructed staff to gather at the Conference Hall by 10:30 a.m. to witness the event.

The SSCE External is primarily designed for private candidates seeking certification outside the conventional school system. It also offers an opportunity for those who missed the internal examination or wish to improve their results.

AFRIPOST reports that NECO conducts the external examination annually to ensure that candidates who are not enrolled in regular schools still have access to certification recognized nationwide.

The announcement of today’s results is expected to draw attention from thousands of candidates across the country eager to know their performance.
