Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo has joined President Bola Tinubu’s campaign as Atlanta, USA coordinator for Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), a pro-Tinubu advocacy group.
Bolanle who shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday, wrote, “Honored to serve as Coordinator! Atlanta/USA for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
Following the post, some social media users welcomed him, with Yul Edochie writing, “Welcome on board brother.”
Others were critical, questioning his involvement because his immediate family members live outside Nigeria.
One user Halima wrote, “Jokes on you … ‘Tinubu is fixing Nigeria’ from someone who has his kids and immediate family members outside Nigeria.”
While another Shugaboy added, “I used to respect you a lot but now I see the type of person you are,” and yet another pointed out, “Your kids are outside the country na. Obviously you don’t care about the ones in Nigeria.”
Other public figures, including businessman Obi Cubana, have also taken positions in Tinubu-linked support groups ahead of the 2027 elections.
President Tinubu’s administration has been making several appointments across government and related bodies since he assumed office, including roles in advocacy and mobilisation for governance and national development.
Bolanle, known for his work in Nollywood, now joins a growing list of public figures using their platforms to support political initiatives ahead of the 2027 elections.
