The Bank of Industry has announced the appointment of Olayinka Mubarak as the Managing Director of BOI Investment and Trust Company Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary.
In a statement on Wednesday, the development finance institution said Mubarak brings over 25 years of experience in banking and financial services, cutting across development finance, treasury management, public sector finance, commercial and retail banking, as well as corporate, private and investment banking.
The bank noted that she has participated in several local and international training programmes, equipping her with global exposure and best practices in financial services, leadership and corporate governance.
Before her appointment, Mubarak held various senior leadership positions at the Bank of Industry, where she played key roles in driving impactful interventions across critical sectors of the Nigerian economy.
In 2017, she was appointed by the Federal Government to the board of the Solid Minerals Development Fund, a role that further strengthened her experience in public sector governance and oversight.
According to the bank, Mubarak will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for BOI-ITC, overseeing its trusteeship, custodial services, financial planning and advisory businesses.
The BOI added that her mandate will focus on strengthening governance structures, improving operational efficiency and delivering sustainable value for stakeholders.
