Prominent Singer, L.A.X has taken a significant step in his personal emotional life as he get engaged to his partner, Ella.
The artiste shared a proposal video on his Instagram page on Thursday, capturing the moment he asked her to marry him.
In the clip, L.A.X leads Ella to a riverbank decorated with flowers. He gives her a bouquet and then goes down on one knee to propose. Ella is emotional in the video, shedding tears before saying yes.
L.A.X captioned the post: “To loving you forever always. D & E.”
Fans and colleagues responded with messages of congratulations under the post.
Born Damilola Afolabi, L.A.X began his music career as a rapper in secondary school with a group called Flyboiz before going solo.
He gained mainstream attention in 2013 with the hit song ‘Caro’, a collaboration with Wizkid under Starboy Entertainment. The track was nominated for Hottest Single of the Year at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
He later released another collaboration with Wizkid titled ‘Ginger’ and eventually founded his own record label, Rasaki Music.
L.A.X has remained active in the Nigerian music scene and in public life beyond music.
