Grammy-nominated Afrobeat star David Adeleke, well known as Davido, has refuted viral allegations suggesting he is the father of a teenage girl who recently demanded a DNA test to confirm her paternity.
The ‘Damiduro’ crooner clarified that he has never been involved in any personal relationship with the girl’s mother, adding that his first and only interaction with them occurred during the DNA testing exercise.
He further revealed that a total of five DNA tests were carried out across different medical centers.
He explained that he personally selected three of the hospitals, while the remaining two were chosen by the girl and her mother.
According to him, all the test results unanimously showed that he is not the child’s biological father.
He described the entire episode as emotionally taxing and accused the girl’s mother of inappropriate conduct, while emphasising that he does not blame the teenager for the situation.
“This is the last time I will speak on this matter,” the singer said, insisting that the issue should be considered settled based on the medical findings.
